Valencia Basket defeats Baskonia in the EncestaRías tournament semifinal (84-99)

Valencia Basket began its participation in the tenth EncestaRías ACB tournament with a victory over Baskonia by 84-99 in the first semifinal, in a game where they built an early lead thanks to a strong offensive first quarter. The margin continued to grow through a well-rounded offensive effort, with all twelve players scoring and six of them reaching double figures. The team managed to protect that lead until the end.
The taronja team was missing three injured players (López-Arostegui, Montero, and Badio), but welcomed the preseason debuts of Reuvers, Thompson, and Iroegbu. Valencia Basket will face Río Breogán tomorrow at 8:30 p.m.
